Artistic Career Path

Dimitar Uzunov is a theater director, screenwriter and producer. In 2008, he founded the theater company Famille Mundi in Paris and has been its artistic director since then. Co-founder and co-director of Arte Urbana Collectif, who produces and organizes different events in Bulgaria and Europe. He is the organizer of the Summer Scriptwriting Base, an international educational forum for writing scripts for various arts and creative industries. Every summer, SSB brings together participants, lecturers and mentors from all around the world for ten intensive days of lectures and workshops. He is the director and screenwriter of eight theater plays in France and Bulgaria and numerous multimedia stories. Dimitar Uzunov regularly gives workshops on story-telling, acting and directing (France, Bulgaria, Great Britain, USA, Egypt, Lithuania and Azerbaijan).

Education and Training

Dimitar Uzunov holds a master’s degree in Applied Theatrical Sciences from the University of Paris 8. He has also studied acting, theater directing and theater management at Brooklyn College (CUNY), New York.
